Cricket Press - Lexington, KYLast year, Brian Turner of Cricket Press created one of the more iconic images for the show, the gear hand- which ended up being our 2007 team jersey design - but this year he told me he wanted to take things in a different direction.
Approaching the print with illustrator's eye, I think he's designed a beautiful piece. With the city in the background and the tall dune grasses in the foreground, the bicycle gets a rest after a long day's ride. That bike will be making another appearance on our team jerseys this year. Brian's final design is a secret for now (only to be revealed on ride day), but one thing is for sure - we'll be standing out on the roads. They look great.
